Negri Fine Cases
Luis Negri was born into an Italian family in 1967, in Germany. By the age of 17, Luis had learnt to build his own tailor-made violin cases by hand and in the most excellent, old-Italian tradition, in a workshop at home.
At the age of 20 Luis founded the Company Negri Cases, based in the city of Lübeck, Germany. The last 23 years has seen Negri Cases expand to become a trustworthy and highly recognised name in the music industry.
Today we boast a quality showcase of stunning, hand-made, high calibre products, setting the standard of the finest violin cases worldwide. We have recently expanded with a new line of elegant, high-quality designer cases. In 2012 Negri Cases began to manufacture products with Carbon fibre and composite materials in their newest workshop, based in the city of Vigo, Spain.
Our fine-crafted cases have travelled and continue to travel across the globe, sharing emotion and great esteem with the leading names in the violin world. Many Stradivari, Guarneri, both old and more modern, are carried in Negri Cases.
We have proudly preserved and transported many of the world’s finest violins and instruments for some of the leading musicians on the world stage today, from Ruggiero Ricci, Lord Menuhin, Maxim Vengerov, Vadim Repin, Akiko Suwanai and Joshua Bell and many great contemporary musicians.
